Why don't you call T-Mobile and ask them for it...it's free and the only requirement is that you've been with them for at least 90 days.

Yes I have...TWICE! They've never given me the go-around and have been upfront always. I just ask for an unlock code and they give it to me...that's quite boggling:confused:

T-Mobile's $hit:
T-Mobile Sim Unlock Request
Sim Unlock Reference: 0699945
IMEI: 35XxXxXxXxXxXxX
Thank you for taking the time to contact T-Mobile. We have forwarded your request to the manufacturer. These requests normally take 24-48 hours, but may sometimes take longer based on circumstances that are not under our control. Please allow 14 days before submitting a duplicate request. If no response has been received after 14 days, please submit a new request.
NOTE: Since T-Mobile is requesting an unlock code from the manufacturer we cannot guarantee the response time or that a unlock code will be provided.
Thank You,
Sim Unlock Department
T-Mobile USA, Inc.
I've been with the company for atleast 4 Years now, and this is the premium treatment that the dedicated customers get now?!

I have a PUK code for the Siemens CF62T phone, but I'm not sure how to use it. If you know, please email instructions to: jennifermoore2005@hotmail.com
I will post the code here, once I've successfully used it on my phone.

Unless you've locked your phone by entering the wrong PIN codes more than 10 times, it's really not that much use to you right now (although for future referrence you might wanna keep it)...

The saga continues...
Ok T-Mobile said the phone cannot be unlocked (B.S.) so they sent me a new phone that can be unlocked (why didn't they unlock it?!) so I will call them to get the code and I will repost about this.

I have first contacted T-Mobile for unlocking my phone 4 weeks ago. They gave me a code to unlock my phone but I am not sure how it works.
I have just this message on my screen:
Phone disabled! NETWORK CODE
And when I enter the numbers - nothing happens - the only option I have is Clear. Even if I wait - still nothing happens. Now from T-Mobile they offer to give me a new unlock code but I think it won't work - at least not in this way.
Can you tell me what I should do?

i know how to access the subsidy network code prompt: put in a SIM that is not
T-mobile. You can then enter the code which will appear at the bottom.
You get the run-around because the workers want to keep their jobs. Giving out the code is a breach of the eminent domain contract between the manufacturer and the wireless provider, regardless of your time with the company. You are not the owner of the phone's network access, just the phone that was purchased under a contract, whether you purchased it originally, or someone else. You buy the phone, which is solely encoded for exclusive use on the wireless network you choose. Accepting the phone is agreeing that you will not modify the phone's infrastructure- sure, you can change the notes, ringtones and graphics, but that's pretty much it.
The exclusion to the rule is only when the phone is no longer being supported, not just simply discontinued.

It is not a breach! You are the owner of the phone, and thus you have rights to use it in any way you wish...when did you get the idea that it's a violation of the "contract between manufacturer and wireless provider"?? Yeah, it's intended to be used locked to the network so that the customer can't use it on another network right away, but that doesn't mean that it's set in stone!
Besides, it's part of T-Mobile's policy to allow its customers the unlock code to their handsets every 90 days...if it were being done under the table, why is it done in such a way that it's linked to T-Mobile (email w/unlock code sent BY T-Mobile)...plus, you bought the phone FROM the carrier, not the manufacturer (hence the packaging being T-Mobile and not necessarily the manufacturer's) and so it's T-Mobile's decision whether or not to give unlock codes:cool:

Wow.. a lot of 1 posters looking for Siemens codes. Same person?
Some Reps just dont know the real story - you need you call and get someone with experience sometimes. Most of the time they are reading teleprompts and relaying information. You just need to keep trying.
As far as forwarding the information to the manufacture, thats a necessity in most cases, considering they are the ones who lock the phone in the first place for the carrier.

Possibly not - I'm only here because my daughter is trying to unlock a CF62T and is getting the same runaround from T-Mobile that other people are getting.

My daughter got the exact same "We're forwarding it to the manufacturer" reply that was posted above by Airman. We waited and waited, then just received this further reply:
Thank you for taking the time to contact T-Mobile. We have received your SIM Unlock Request. Unfortunately, we are unable to process your request at this time because we were unsuccessful in obtaining an unlock code for the given IMEI. We have made every attempt to obtain the unlock code for this device.
There's a local phone repair store that unlocked an AT&T phone for me for $20 last year, so we're going to try them next.

And to follow up on that, I've just come back from the store. After waiting in line for about 15 minutes, the guy took one look and said, "Nope, can't unlock Siemens phones."
