I just bought a P910i and would like to know how do i watch movies on it? i know someone here once ran the full length Matrix movie on his P900. What software am i supposed to use? and how large are the files in general?
Agile Messenger doesnt doesnt seem to connect even though my internet browser is working perfectly fine(using same connection with agile) any help?
does keeping the Bluetooth enabled all the time drain the battery faster?
and last, i can't seem to retrieve my email on the P910, i know i got all the settings right(outgoing/incoming,password.....and so on) it just saying connecting to smtp.mail.yahoo.com and nothing happens. The same settings worked on all the series 60 phones i had in the past!

You don't need to disable/enable BT all the time to preserve the battery.
For headset and handsfree connections P910 uses a power saving feature called sniff mode (one of the first phones using this). It also enables for faster connection set-up times.
Try it out and you'll see (others have had great success with this feature).

p900, 910 only plays 3GP and MP4 i guess. so if u'd buy a 1GB MS Duo Pro; u can even put in Matrix, Reloaded, Revolution with that kind of compression ratio....

with regards to your problems using agile messenger and retreiving your email, its because you need an internet apn. this is different from a grprs internet apn, it allows you to download emails and use messenger programs like agile messenger. contact your service provider and ask them to send you details for a internet apn

oh! ....so where is the settings is that entered? and do i just call my provider and ask for the APN setting?
btw, the store than i bought the P910 from sent me the GPRS settings(includes WAP settings, which got me confused). The built in SE browser works fine, but Opera, Agile, Email never worked with this WAP(GPRS) settings.

i have a simple question, when i used to use the T610 i loved the default SE message tone, and the "old phone" ring tone. anyone knows where i can find those to download and install in my P910?
i was a little dissapointed that those tones weren't built into the P910.

Its automatically enabled when using headset or handsfree profile and hence you do not need to do anything.

gotcha, thanks!
btw, i managed to get Opera and my Email working, but Agile still isn't logging on to MSN, i think it's more of an Agile problem rather than my connection.
fabarati thanks for the link, gonna check it out :)

that's rubbish, i went to sonyericsson.com chose my country and language, then clicked on support, then into "global" and from there you can locate you provider, they ask you to enter your mobile number, and the settings will be SMS'ed to you. this inludes, GPRS, MMS and eWAP settings.
Opera works great with me :)

You can use smartmovie (http://www.lonelycatgames.com/) to convert and watch movies on Symbian devices (incliding Symbian UIQ - P900 P910).

yah i got it for around that price, it's 3100 dirhams(UAE currency) which converts to $842 U.S dollars. But keep in mind that i got mine with an SE HBH-300 bluetooth headset(which costs around $100 seperately).

Smartmovie is the best for mobile movies. I've had it on my past three phones- 6600, then 7610, and finally on my P910. The big screen of the P9 simply cannot be beat, though I have to admit that movies seem to play smoother on the 7610. Anyway, with a 512mb or 1 GB Pro Duo stick, you pretty much have a theater in your pocket. I wouldn't recommend full movies though; it's better to load up with shorter stuff, like anime, episodes of The Simpson/Futurama, the Clone Wars and movie trailers.
