7610 help please! money given!

hi there,only joking about the money, that was just to get your attention, sorry! does anyone know how to do a master reset on a uk 7610?? i want to reset the whole thing including the memory card. also if i format the whole phone, will this re-lock my phone, as in set it to its original 'locked to t-mobile' state. cheers for any help given guys.

master reset? I know that from past experiences with other nokia models that they attach a data cable to the cellfone, and they basically have a program to delete all the memory.. and install a stock OS.. its basically brand new... your fone will get locked again.. and all the settings will be restored to factory..

on the memory card note, i dont have a real clue, but you do have a mmc adapter right? so you could probably get a card reader for a pc and reformat it via pc.. check if the card reader has a driver that will allow you to do that.

and if you want basic reformat.. just go to settings.. restore factory setting.. pincodes return to 1234 usually and usually the tones are all deleted.. i could be wrong though.. before you do that store all your numbers on the sim.. restoring factory settings will bring your fone back to stock.. hope this works.. i honestly dont have experience doing it on series 60 platforms (6600, 7610, etc) but ive done it on older fone models.. Restoring factory settings dont lock your cell.. at least i cant recall..

Hi. I want to buy the Nokia 7610.I saw all feautures.I just want to make some questions.If i buy it, both covers are included?2nd:Is Usb wire included? and 3rd:Nokia 7610 has 48 polyphonic chords.t610 has 32 poly chords.I am not sure.Does 7610 sound bettter than t610?(cause t610's ringtones are awesome!!)

wait.. u mean u want to reset settings or format memory? reset settings is done in phone settings.. there should be an option.. and the other requires a key combination held when turning on the phone.. i forgot what it is. to format mem card, use the memory application in the software.

it shouldn't simlock your phone.. but if it does, just post ur details here and u can get a code. by here i mean in the unlocking topic.
