I am bidding on a T637 and just realized it is not unlocked. Oh Well,

Is there a quick and easy way to unlock them or am I into problems if I win the bid.

if it is a t-mobile phone, they will probably unlock it for you, if it is Cingular (phone nazis) or ATTW (mobile whores) then you will need to get some cables, software and about 15$ for unlocking "do-it-yourself" service. You can also post it to some shop in CA, USA or UK

Is there a quick and easy way to unlock them or am I into problems if I win the bid.If it's from Cingular, then it's already unlocked since it's considered a world phone. T-Mobile only has the T610, so it will either be AT&T or Cingular. Incidentally, the merger between the two carriers is pretty much finalized, so if you're on either you have access to both networks :)
