Erm all that is on the link is a white block. Doesnt seem like much of a phone to me.

Turn your screen brightness up. The extremely bright phone screen in that pic obscures everything else, but there's definitely a phone there resembling the 7700.

And it looks a hundred times more respectable than the 7700. Looks more like a Sony PSP in many ways... :)

Interesting: it seems to me the screen edge of the "phone" moves somehow. This could be good. Perhaps revealing a full QWERTY keyboard, or some (silly) advanced era inspired keypad that Nokia is currently famous for.

Hmmm, looking at the screen, how large do you think it is? Im thinking no more than 3" diagnal?

Also.. look at the botton right corner, the "nub". Looks like it might be the stylus storage area. This thing needs a proper introduction I think :D

I hope they dont do that, im not a bit fan of their new fashion phones (except the 7610). I like their business phones like 6230, 6600, 6260 and 6630.

Nah, they will always have business style phones. E.g. 6670 that is supposed to be announced this year.

Yeah, this thingie in the pic look real interesting, obviously some kind of an attempt to push the portfolio to new areas as competition in the traditional phone segment is getting tougher all the time. Could a device with a mobile TV application built in or as an add on (like in 7700).

That certainly looks like a Series 90 device to me. I would not be surprised at all if Nokia were to be working on a new device. In fact, I would be surprised if they weren't....

gd find on that pic. and michael is right. i wouldnt be suprised if nokia didnt have another line up of phones announced before end of this year. their first line up isnt even out yet!(6260, 6630, 6170 etc) and they got the fashion phones announced, and i sense another one soon. i hope to god its some business ended phones now.give us something to drool over nokia.. not a duplicate phone with just the brand nokia on top.... hmm...

Nokia cancelled the 7700 because;
"Industry elements, in terms of content and service availability, are not yet mature enough."
but Nokia also said that: (Kari Tuutti, Director of Communications)
"As for the Series 90 platform upon which the 7700 is based, the future still appears bright since Nokia will launch a new device based on the platform some time in 2005."

so 2Q 2005 the new 7700 or 7710/7750

so... mega pixel cam , no side-talking , touch screen , huge screen , huge stylus ,.... what i read in some other forums is that it supports mmc , it got 64mb internal memory .A huge 640x320 pixel touchscreen, a built-in FM tuner that worked with Nokia’s new Visual Radio service, an MP3 player, and the ability to stream video off of the web. :D :D :D 65k colors,( but you could totally tell that by checking out the images), runs Symbian series 90, has 6.6 hours talk time, 11 days standby time, an MMC (or probably SD) port (thanks Nokia!), 64MB internal flash memory, Bluetooth, MP3/AAC audio player, IR, USB, and tri-band GPS/EDGE support

Dammit I'd nearly settled on getting myself a Sharp 902 at Christmas and then I see the Nokia 7710. OK, it's not at all similar in terms of spec, apart from they're both seriously nice gadgets.

This thing looks like it's been on an "N-Gage QD diet", a much neater implementation of the old 7700. Looking at the pix confirms a megapixel camera, 640x320 display, FM radio and everything else from the 7700.

Odd pictures though - I can betcha that Nokia aren't happy. Looks like the unit might have been "borrowed" from a manufacturing facility in China or something.

The colour scheme on the UI seems to hint that we may see it come out with the black, red, white colours that the other recent 7xxx phones have also used.

Man I am getting all hot and bothered for this phone (and 9300 and 6630 too...). I still hope the UI can be reconfigured for a left handed person (like me). :)

Well dont count on the 6630 being very cheap on release. Speculation says its going to cost around 550 euros on release.

Syphon: Yeah well according to Nokia the 3230 is going to cost around 350 euros when its released and the features are pretty much the same, except for 3G. But cause the 6630 doesnt have dualcam or rotating cam, its videocall functions are very limited.
