Today for about two hours were were being connect spammed by some of SingNet's servers. It appeard to be their caching proxy servers, and I believe it to be an unfortunate problem instead of a real Denial Of Service attack, but the effect was the same: it shut down our server for two hours.
Eventually I got all of their IPs configured into the firewall so that things could go back to normal. I emailed them to tell them of the problem, too.
But I imagine that their customers are going to have trouble getting to our sites until SingNet contacts me and tells me that the problem has been resolved.
So if any SingNet customers are getting here and able to read this, please say so. Also, you might want to lodge a complaint in their system about the problem. I was unable to do so since I have no user IDs or such.
I simply emailed Abuse@SingNet.com.sg and hoped that went to the right people.
