Did you get a chance to try out the HBH-65? I thought I remember reading that you got one...and it was on the charger...

Yup. I'll write something up this week.

But there is little to report. I never got the chance to fully test the battery life (the P900 preempted it), and otherwise it seems to be exactly like the HBH-60 except for the color.

But I have some pretty pictures....hah hah.

Any chance of going back and fully testing the battery life as this is something many would be interested in knowing.

I don't have the headset anymore. It was on loan from ACS, not sent by SE.

 You have return the HBH-65....
I agree, I for one require to know how much longer does the battaries last ! to justify the price difference btw HBH-60 and HBH-65

I'll ask SE for one. See what they say.

Michael, I have an hbh-35 and I have to send it back to SE because the housing cracked. Do you think the hbh-60/65 are made of more durable materials? I mean do you think it's worth picking up an hbh-60/65 and keeping the hbh-35 as a backup?

Thanks in advance

I like the HBH-60/65 design much more than the -30/35 (especially more than the 35).

I've been using a 60 since it first came out, and I use it for 80% of my phone calls. It is just now in recent weeks starting to show signs of wear. The button sometimes doesn't respond to a light press anymore.

So I would say the design is pretty sound.

the difference?

saw the hbh-65 in a shop today. the owner said the only difference, thru his experience thus far, from the hbh-60....is the color of the housing.

can anyone confirm?

The battery life has been increased.

Doesn't it sound a bit odd that a new model would consist of nothing but a color change?

I also heard that the new hbh-65 supports voice dialing through bluetooth while the hbh-60 doesn't.

Also, Michael, does the P900 support the hbh-60?

I just bought my hbh-65 and I love it. The range is excellent. I can use it in places that I couldn't with the hbh-35.
