Nokia 7610 and HS-3 Fashion Headset?

I've been getting some reports from Nokia FREE Forums, that aftermarket HDS-3 and HS-3 Headsets (both are dual earpiece) works on 7610

I'm going to buy an aftermarket HS-3 Fashion Headset off Ebay.com.au to try it out soon :D

yea, some of those aftermarket will work (both headset will have sound), but some dont work at all, i suggest choose the cheapest 1, but the sound quality will be crap...

Yea. There's a high probability that its an Aftermarket.

If it is so, then I'm looking forward to the HS-3 that's arriving at my door in the upcoming week :D

I got mine from ebay and it works in both earphones! Ang good quality too, recomend getting one of these from ebay!

Now that there are documented claims that the Fashion HS-3 Headset phone works with the 7610, do you think modded HS-3 with the 3" earphone jack will appear in the future? ;)

I've got a Nokia made HS-3 and 7610 (that's Nokia made too)
first time I plugged it in, it seemed to work fine. Since then 'enhancement not sprtd' and sound in one ear :(

ya how to know it's aftermarket... OEM ones? the lisitngs usually say nokia hs-3 headset

I've been hearing ppl buying Genuine HS-3 headsets that work on 7610.

I bought an aftermarket one off Ebay - would that make a difference? Hope it works. If it doesn't, I'll have to sell it again ... :(

I bought an aftermarket HS-3 and it works on my 7610. Mono sound from both earpieces, but the volume isn't as loud.

I'm going to try my luck on a Genuine HS-3 soon ...
