Please help decide my fate !! .. Which phone to choose!

Hello everyone on this forums.. I think my fate on me choosing a phone depends on you people so please help me out!



When i first heard about the Nokia 7610 i knew i was going to get this fone because of the features but when i heard the Audio quality sucks for mp3 i just got out of it.. On top of that there is no radio... Now i hear about the Nokia 6260 and i am really thinking about this phone but i wanted to ask you guys is .. does this phone have a bad video recording capability and is the video recording limited to only 30 seconds?.. And is the quality bad?.. Second its a VGA camera.. i had never used a phone this hightech before.. i had my 7250.. which served me well.. Anyways my question was i am looking for the Perfect phone and money is not a issue here... The only issue hear is time i need to get a phone ASAP like in 1 month time..

I also want to be able to put MSN on it using WAP not gprs please and adding extra applications which nokia is good for is also a good thing i would like but its not a must.. Games is also one thing but not important.. i dont care about 2D or 3D as long as it looks visually applealing and fun thats what i care about..

TRIBAND IS A MUST AND IT SHOULD NOT BE BIG!

Please please guys help me pick a phone thats right for me.. IF you have any other phone suggestions aside for Nokia please please give me your ideas and i will check it out.. I only have limited time!

I know most of you will say 6260 is prolly my phone but i want to know is that is 6260 better than 7610 or not? And isnt it weird that the menu bar is on the top part of the phone like how are you suppose to browze around without fliping the phone out?.. or is that no problem i should be worrying about?..

One symbian phone I know which has good stereo sounds, an FM Radio, and an integrated mp3 player is the Siemens SX-1. You'll have to get used to the weird keypad arrangement though - but it's not that big. (it's I think about the same size as a 7610?) And it uses Nokia's symbian OS.

The SX-1 can also record video - not that sure, but I think video length depends on how large your MMC is. A friend of mine once recorded a 5 minute clip.

Another phone which has stereo sounds, has an MMC, can record video, and has good WAP and gprs - and is NOT all that big, is the nokia 6230. Yup, it has an FM Radio too. It doesn't have symbian though - so all the apps you can most likely add are in Java.

In my opinion, the 6260 is a bit big, based on the pictures I've seen - it wont be that comfy to use. But yes, it does have all the features you mentioned.

The 6630 would do one better than the 6260 - and is smaller (when used). And it doesn't have that weird 6260 flip buttons.

the menu bar is on top of the fone so u can flip the screen over and shut it so the screen is facing towards u and browse through the menu wivout the keypad part of the fone in the way.

6260 is my pick.. kicks butt without a vengeance. the only other stereo mp3 symbians that can be compared to this is the sendo X(fatty) and the Sx1(eeerm....can we say keypad?).... i couldnt care less about its "size". its perfect for me. i shall work towards that phone now.

a guy said the keypad being on the top flip isnt a problem. i dont understand how it cant be a problem but i guess you get use to it. and its much better then the 7610 cause of 5 reasons 1) its a clamshell 2) stereo mp3(duh) 3) Push To Talk. 4)wicked browser mode where u can flip the top part down 5)bigger and brighter screen for awesome movie viewing.with all these reasons already mentioned, a crappy 1mp camera cant even match them. scrap the 7610. go 6260. u wont regret it.

6260's overall size is quite small...just tad taller than panasonics gd87 and thats not big. it should be out within the next few weeks...its prob out already.

If you have limited time, why go for the 6260 that isn't out yet?

Well, my suggestions would be 6260, Sendo X, SX-1 or the SE K700. None of them are the perfect choice but at least as near as I could come your requirements .

anyone notice that newer phones are getting bigger and bigger?....6260, s700, p910, xdaIII, and so on....maybe the rest of the world is trying to follow japanese phones which are very very big as well..... id rather have a small phone....

the 7610, k700i, 6230, 6610i, F500, k500 are small phones... the 7610 pretty much rocks 'em all!

I'd rather have a big flip, like a GX-32 or a Z1010. Theres just something about them that seems sturdy and id never have to worry about breaking it or misplacing it (my Z600 looks like its been through a war). Plus that click that japanese flip phones make is heaven to me...lol
