Unlocking T68i.

How is it possible to unlock a T68i as i have just purchased one off e-bay locked to the Orange network. Is it a case of purchasing a data cable or paying for it unlocking.

I think you can do either but you would still need the software for the cable solution anyway. I personally wouldn't pay anyone for unlocking, just on principle so I know what I'd go with.

yet, it is still better to have someone who really knows what he's doing unlock your t68i.

So is it not possible to simply unlock these phones with codes generated from the IMIE number like most Nokia's?

I am most likely reselling the phone but was wishing to try it out on O2 to see if it was a phone i wished to keep.

So what im saying is i don't want to waste money paying someone to unlock my phone if i am going to re sell it.

If it can be done with a data cable then i would most likely do it myself.
