you can get the one used for 2300 or the 8310. those headsets should work.

buy only headsets that supports both headset and hansdfree profile... ur choices are:

nokia- HD-2W, HD-3W, HS-3W, HS-4W (stick, to nokia if 1 charger thing is very important)

SE- HBH-60/65/600

JABRA- BT-200/250

G2

It's the MP3 player which determines whether you can play music over the headset I think. Anyway I used Viking MP3 Player in conjunction with a Motorola HS800 and also a Nokia HDW-2 - sound is poor, but that has to be expected with low-bandwidth devices such as Bluetooth headsets.

Oh sorry, if we're talking about all headsets then the best one is the 8310/6510 headset - the Nokia HDW-1, sound is fed to both earpieces albeit in mono and at very low sample rate (16kHz max.), so basically it sounds crap. But it's your choice, that headset does work, and unfortunately the N-Gage one *doesn't* work, nor does it's 2.5-to-3.5mm converter (it does for about 3 seconds until the 6600 disables it).

He, he, thanks guys, i took my normal 3.5mm Headphones plugged them into a 2.5mm converter and voila it picks it up as an enhancement, thus i can listen to music using my normal headphones :)

Well, that's weird cos the N-Gage one should allow it really, but it doesn't because the 6600 connector should have a 4-pole design for the microphone as well and the 3-pole (read - standard), N-Gage one shorts out the microphone connector. But at least you got it working, is it a normal adaptor or a specialist one?

It a normal 2.5mm mono connector. I was really surprised that it worked.

When you say "it shorts out the microphone connection" do you mean that it damages it permantly?

No, it shouldn't damage anything, it's only a tiny current needed to run headphones, but it will mess up your phone when you get incoming calls (this is when the phone will attempt to use the microphone which you have now linked to the earphones) so unplug the adapter first.

Yup it definitely has to get unplugged with incoming calls or else it not going to work.
