Hi everyone,

It's my first time here, however, I have used nearly every (I mean EVERY) pda out there and many, many mobiles.

I have a question though (which will help me move towards a P900 as I enjoyed my P800 in the past). I currently use a Clie NX70vg and heavily use the movie capture & playback features.

With the P900 now supporting moving images, does ANYONE KNOW IF THE P900 WILL PLAY BACK THE MOV. FILES in which a Clie records?

Thanks a heap guys and keep up the good work to Michael & team.

Steve

I don't think the PacketVideo viewer will view MOV files.

MP4 is the format of choice for the P900.

Perhaps there is a third party application, though. I don't really know, as I haven't been using a P800 as my normal handset.

SE says the P900 will be released in Q4.

Some ebay user (http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=3357854855&category=45766) even announce the 04.11.03 as the 0-day, but íīm not sure whether their information is correct, because several P900s vanished from the trading list... so, letīs keep your eyes open and... wait :)

It wont play .MOV files BUT you can copy the files to your computer and convert to MP4 ;) of course quality wont be as nice.. but its one way to work around it.
