Hey guys!
Just upgraded from a SE T610 to a 6600.
This is one fine phone; I find that although complicated at first, the button layout works intuitively and superbly and the options available in Symbian OS are great; it's a robust and flexible OS.

Few n00b questions, don't roll your eyes, please answer! LOL

Firstly, once, I was composing an MMS, and it suddenly closed and went back to the standby screen, saying something to the effect of "General System Error: MMS editor closed." What happened?

There as an app that makes use of the IR port where you can use the handset as a remove. Can anyone point me in the direction of a WAP site where I can download it? I don't have a bluetooth dongle yet.
(While we're on WAP topics, anyone know where to get some good themes on WAP?)

Thanks guys, apart from that I'd really appreciate any links to sites with 6600 resources.
Thanks!

EDIT: I've found the IR Remote app on wap.my-symbian.com! Howver, sometimes, apps will download to a certain percentage, then seem to stop. Anyone know how come?

Hey, um, the General System Error is pretty normal Symbian, so no worries. You we're probably too fast for it :S. Uh, not too sure about the IR Remote thing, but I think it would be better to download the file from my-symbian first and then send it to your phone... :)

You mean you can't? Oh. Um, well, er, haha, I don't know what to do. I guess you have to keep on trying with that WAP site :S. But don't try TOO many times, if it keeps stopping then don't bother.

Actually I just found that I can use my Palm as a card reader! Bad thing is, I don't know how to install apps/themes etc. to it properly - I can put them on the card but nothing shows up on the phone! Any ideas?

Go onto tools, manager and install the .sis file from there.
