Sony's new K500i, surprisingly make a sudden appearance in Indonesia market 3 days ago. It cost USD$300 down here. What I think about this phone is that it 90% resemblance of K700i without the brush metal finishing. The keypad are darn small and uncomfortable to press and it only have 12Mb of internal un-expand-able memory. Guess its targeted to anyone who cannot afford K700i :D . Well its not a bad phone for its price, but I still prefer the design of T series (T610 and T630) more than K500i.

i prefere Txxx designs 2. K500 is indeed a class lower then the K700.
when Se will advertise the K700 on the tv, it will also have effect on sales of the K500 because its cheaper.

I have to disagree. The screen is smaller (128 x 160 against K700's 176 x 220). The memory is smaller (12 against 41). It has no bluetooth and as far as I know no FM-radio (correct me if I'm wrong).
