I've been waiting for a 6230 for a while now and ill be able to get it in about three weeks, but now i can get the 6600 free straight away.

I just wana find some stuff out:

1. Is there a way of adding an mp3 player and radio to the 6600?

2. Is there a way to bypass the 6600's 20sec video limit? and how long can it be extended to?

3. If you had to choose between a 6230 and a 6600 which one would you choose?

Also let me know about your experiences with a 6600.

1) You can add an mp3 player, but I don't think you can add a radio.
2) Yes there is, it is extended to how much memory you have.
3) Um...I'm not sure. I would most likely choose the 6600 perhaps.

Watch out Ruler_70, 6230 has stereo, while 6600 has mono. So if you´re going for mp3 and radio go for 6230, but if u don´t care and want functions go for 6600. I love mp3, but I have an mp3 player, so I would go for 6600.

Now I used 2 phone (6230 & 7610), I think u need to choose 6600, because it have many features that 6230 didn't had.

Yeah, the mono thing's bad. It only sucks if you're going to listen to mp3s using a headset, loudspeaker is alright.

Oh ok well, it doesnt really matter if its stereo or mono, i mean all the people with the 7610 have mono anyway.

Does anyone know where i can get those mp3player and video extender apps?

Im gana go get the 6600 tomorrow.

Just one last thing, the 6600 doesnt have a pop-port so is there a cable you can use to connect to PC or only Bluetooth dongle?

and what headset do i need to use to listen to mp3's?

Well, no, there's no cable that connects the 6600 with the PC, only Bluetooth and IR.
There are lots of bluetooth dongles that u can buy and they are all around $30 maximum :)

About the apps, they are not free. You can buy those apps from www.handango.com (http://www.handango.com). There are lots of MP3 player apps, one of the best i knew is Mp3Player. As for the Video app, there is Philips Camcorder Pro for 6600.

1) Yes, MP3 player is possible, but I dont think adding Radio is possible, I use UltraMP3 to listen to my songs.
2) Firstly, 6600 is 9 seconds recording, and yes, you can install 3rd party software, my oppinion is get ETI Camcorder
3) I think 6600 is better.
