Is S700 woth the money.

I find most topics boring these days so I want to make things intresting.
Straight to the point, I want to know if you can search the internet and post some links of products and there cost for instance the dixons website that shows a 1.3 megapixil camera and it's price.To help people out when you look for something to use for bluetooth just find a dongle and you have a budget of a asumtion of S700's price that is £400.00 but you can convert it to your curency and find shops from other countries including ebay.

ah well, theres always a coupla spoilt sports in each forum,the one especially annoying everyone is hyme at howardforums who annoyed bengalboy so much he has refused to do the s700 review..god damn him to hell....i wanted to see that review so much. then again mark does have an ego and his ego got kinda scratched by hymes posts so that kind of made bengalboy angry. damn it... now ill never know if the s700 is a phone i should put on my to buy list.

i guess whether the S700 is worthy or not will end up at it's selling price.

Too close to P910 -- not good.
Like what they claimed earlier, lower than the current 7610's selling price? -- impossible.

But the local SE official dealer's staffs old me it'll end up RM2600 - RM2700 as the official retail price. If that's what it is, NOT WORTH IT.

That's around S$1200-1400? Well that aint SO bad, it's cheaper than the P900 when it was first out (I believe...). Back then wasn't it around 2750-2800 Ringgit?

er i was referring to S700, not P910; hehe sorry. Oh ya, i went to Sony's Malaysia headquarters today for some briefings... learnt that S700's selling price will be controlled under or at - RM2100 (Which i belived is unachievable within the 1st 2 months of launching)

Oh. Haha, oops, well then that price is huge. RM2100 is alrighty, but it's still too expensive! Perhaps SE accidently added too many zeros and it's supposed to be 210 Ringgit? :D.

this is the s700 were talking about, the hype will take very long to die so the price will take very long to subside

the 7200 hype ended 2weeks after the phone was out, but the price is still high.

i found that the price of the K700 (450euro here) was to much. 400euro should've been more fair, although its one of the best phones out there.
i personally hope that the S700 won't be much more then 450.
but to be honest i already pre orderd it :D

s700 will be a a phone with the size and the price of a smartphone, but a smartphone it aint... dunno, well see how it will sell...
