From what I've gathered:

Music - .mid .mp3 .wav .imy
Pictures - .jpg .gif .mbm? <-- I'm not sure --> .png?
Video -(I think...) .3pg .mp4 .m4a

hey doesnt it support the .aac format
i found it very useful in my nokia as it reduces the size of the song to a great extent and is no bad to listen to too.

It supports same formats as K700. AAC is one of them.
