Anyone got any comments? Anything I missed out on?

Didn't really miss much. Very comprehensive review, I thought. Looks like 3G technology still has a way to come tho.
Interesting how you mentioned the voice call clarity was no better on 3G, and you still experienced 'hissing' and 'crackling', as it has been on 2G. Surprises me that Hutchinson didn't make use of the noise reduction technology that's out there these days (as used by Telstra). Would make an interesting comparison between Telstra and the Three network, if Telstra still had the better call clarity!
The battery life is still a serious issue - and i've noticed many of the newer mobiles with large colour screens can suffer the same problem (but obviously not quite to that extent). One can only wonder if OLED will solve the problem, or exacerbate it!
oh, and:
*cough* Motorola E365 review! *cough*
Please! No reviews on the 'net for this phone yet, afaik. I'd love to find out a little more about it.

I dont know why, but I expected with all the advances in technology they would have at least decided to make the voice quality better! For me, a phone needs to be a good phone first. After playing around with it a bit more, I've found that the video and audio playback is probably the best feature in the whole phone. There is so much that can be done with them.

One can only hope the new Motorola phones, and the SE ones rumoured to be coming soon, will be much more practical 3G options than the current Motorola and NEC phones.
I look forward to it - i'd really love it if 'Three' keeps those wicked call rates they've got at the moment!

the whloe service is completely overrated i think, and the phones for the meantime are awful. But SE have 4 3G phoned lined up for 2004/2005

4 3G phones? Where did you get that information from? I'm only aware of the Z1010.

That is four around the world, not England. I work for SE, I do software developing and testing. I just got the job about 4 months ago so I missed out on the p810. But I'm working on other projects.
I am working on the 3Gis net here in Sweden and its just been launched here. Working ok but only 128kbps.
Does anybody know if the e606 can be used as a webcam?
I own a e606. and i dont have any hissing on it. but i must say that the battery is teribal. i wrote a review of my phone on another website. (wont mention of course. but its in my profile) and anyway the phone is nice, a bit bulky but dont weigh anything. nice large screen TFT 65K+ colours but i did use my P800 simply because of the battery times. (now sold)
Oh and nice forum. Im Jam and im fron england.
