How do I unlock my treo 600 ?????

I have an ATT treo 600, but my service is with Cingular. How do I unlock the phone to work with my service provider?

Is it a palmOne branded or a Handspring. I believe alot of the Handpsring units her unlocked. Have you tried the SIM? Also - google "treo600 + unlock" ther eis software out there. Or you would just Call Cingular, and tell them you bought it off of ebay thinking it was a Cing but it was an ATT, they maybe able to do it for you as most carriers have a relationship with the OEMs for unlocking phones.

Anyway - I have also seen unlocking software on eBay for about $10 for the Treo600. Good luck.

There are alot of places that charge for unlocking, but i found this place really helpful and they will "unlock your treo for free"

I have found the treo 600 unlock code. My mom gave me a treo 600 that she had with service from at&t. I, however was using tmobile. At&t will not unlock their phones for any reason.

If it doesn't work I will refund your money. I promise. This feature is completely legal. I researched it. It is the individual phone companies that don't want to give them out for fear of losing a customer to another service. Specifically AT&T for one.

just make sure that it is the unlock code for the phone and not the SIM card. Its differnent

The new version of the tutorial is very simple to use, I would recommend that.
