Why not just get a PDA with Wi-Fi? They are available for around $500.

hehe Zire 71 with the Sandisk WiFi card specially for Z71 (most WiFi cards work on SDIO slots only) costs $300 USD (both)

PDA phone with built in SDIO slot - cheapest; Eten P300 from Taiwan. (Which really sucks hard; 8 out of 10 we sold came back for warranty. (No kidding) or - Sony Clie TJ37 (no new sets available) costs around $300 + as well. with WiFi and the best 0.3 cam i ever saw.

Get a Toshiba E740, cheapest i guess. (around $234 USD in Malaysia)

Or a 2nd hand Sony Clie TJ37 (around $300+ USD in Malaysia)

Hp 4150 or Hp 4350 which, when the new Hps came out it will drop dramatically in price. (can fetch it for around $340 USD 1 month from now i guess)

Best of the group, 2nd Sony Clie TH55 (around $400 USD in Malaysia)

P.S. IMO you'll regret when u first start using WiFi on these PDAs which had a reasonably larger screen than Cellphones. If ur internet usage is immediate; its forgivable, but if it's for leisure purpose (surfing and all those stuffs) THEY ALL SUCKED ! TRUST ME, getting online using PDAs for a leisure purpose is SINFUL to urself.

Tungsten C is Obsolete, and it's battery consumption is tremendous! thanks to the Intel Processor. It's also very nice to get a TH55 from Sony cos it has the Sony Handheld Engine processor which has variable processing speeds (Base on ur usage and it adjusts it's processing speed to conserve battery power)

WiFi through PDA bad... only reason : Screen size, scrolling around web pages makes you getting dizzy in no time. Thats the main reason why Sony stops Clie and continue with the development of Vaio Pockets.
IMO, Wireless internet connection speeds are getting faster and faster, the data one receives at any time is far greater than those predecessors; (Main tasks of olden days PDAs are just for information retrieving purposes.) therefore the current sizes of PDA screens (which is limited to the size where u can place them into ur pockets) aren't enough to display all that information and allowing you/any user to manipulate the informations received. Thats the main reason why i think using PDAs to browse internet for leisure purposes is still not practical; try with it and look envyly at someone opposite using a laptop or tablet..... hehe :D
