Just curious about something. How come if I install apps to my memory card, the phone memory also decreases.

I'm curious as well, but this is my guess:

Before the actual installation begins, the phone copies the SIS or JAR file to X:/System/Installs

Now I presume that when you install it to MMC, it makes a copy of it to Installs and once it has finished ... the file is deleted off Installs?

I dunno ... if someone knows the answer, please share!

because some apps install stuff to phone memory when run- look at your system folder using FExplorer.

thanks. Just wundered cos i thought, no point in havin 512mb card with tons of apps if the main phone memory isnt capable of storing them all. Gonna get me a 256 instead. Cheaper, and i prob wont use all that mem......£100+ for a memory card though! sheesh! thats a new phone , kinda.

My 512MB RS-MMC:
Gonna have 256MB of music
Gonna have 64MB of apps/games
Might have 64~128MB of N-Gage games (if I want)

And 64MB of other stuff. Maybe WAV, polyphonics and wallpapers? :D

n-gage games? even if the phone is capable of playing it i wouldnt bother because the dpad is so crap. I got this amazing game called exploder arena and its like bomerman n very addictive. But my thumb hurts after playin cos its so awkwardly placed. Id prefer to have the joystick, i dont know why they removed it. It was good on the 6600, no probs, simple flick left/right/up/down or in

Yea, I have Explode Arena, SkyForce and Fatal Force installed. Not great for gaming, but sure does pass the time with the MP3s in the background :D

I "might" have the games. Example, Sonic is a classic. :)

Think I'll put more music instead ... and pretend its a Ruby 'mega-pixeling' ipod lol

You're actually gonna play music on your 7610? The quality doesn't bother you?

well it's not a Bad MONO on the 7610 .. there is a difference in sound quality between 6600 and 7610. Mono MP3 on 7610 is way better and clearer than the 6600 :) no me too have no problem hearing them in the 7610.

Is there a set of headphones out for the 7610, thats not some convertor poppoprt jack thing (like the skull candy one. Nice but it doesnt really say that it compatible with 7610 says all nokias. All meaning 3310?! or all meaning those with pop port?).

I hate not having stereo. Even if it is a lame, phone stereo, its better than mono. Stereo Radio/CD/DVD ooh, music to my ears! STEREO! hmmm....I dont mind bringin the mini disk, but to bring a phone too?? Hopefully, my super phone will be created, with:

1. GX30 screen
2. Symbian 8.0
3. Decent Mp cam
4. STEREO SOUND! not too much to ask is it?

Oh

5. Petite/Normal aka not 6630 design.

oh AND

6. Hot Swap MMC :)

final two i can live without. Mono Speaker is excellent though for ringtones.

All I want is a Dual Earpiece Headset where I can listen to the MP3s on my 7610.

HS-2R and HDS-3 does not work on the 7610 (Enhancement not Supported).

PS: Who left me negative feedback for no reason? :S
