It's usually permanent, unless you make an apology and promise not to do it again, like Shaheen just did. If you haven't done anything wrong then you won't be banned. We don't enjoy banning people but if you make personal remarks or just generally act like an idiot then you will be banned.

I Did not say it was a spider :) I liked the taillights on this moddel better, I had the interior redone, the wood was replaced by carbon fiber, radio was replaced by a navigationsystem with mp3 and dvd player, turbos and some other parts were upgraded.

I am currently looking to replace the car with an aston martin, so if anyone is interrested...

The Maserati looks great in real life, and it kicks porche ass, pluss its not as common as the porche or a jaguar.
And it has a nice engine sound too, plus its really comfortable even though I am 1.87 meters in a DB7 I had no space to sit, my knees were touching the steeringwheel and my head was touching the roof...

My kid brother however loves his jap and would not trade for the world, the only thing is, to make it run like a euro sportcar, you need to invest a lot of money in mods.
When you want to sell the car, the mods do not add any extra value.
My brother allready invested more in his car then I spent to buy mine...

true, but no jap car, no mather howmuch you spend on the car alone can reach the speeds of say... something like a tvr.
What you are trying to compare is a stock car to a car that has been modded to the max, offcourse you would outrun any car... provided you know how to drive, otherwise you can have all the power in the world, you'll still loose
Most exotics can be modded too....

im saying for 100k i can build a car so incredibly powerful it would destroy any exotic car, but for 100k u can only buy probably a cheapo exotic car which is too slow to even compare with my modified 100k car. you can mod an exotic car but nobody does cause its stupid its an exotic car, nobody mods exotic cars. if you do u cop alot of crap from people cause its just a stupid thing to do. and the same goes for exotic cars, if you dont know how to drive it its useless its not just for high powered modified cars. and the comparison is for cars so why u put a bike link here for? in that case ill get a dodge chrysler tomahawk. estimated to be able to hit 300mph, slaps the y2ks so called 227mph record anyday. the fact of the matter is dont get an exotic car if you want speed, cause ure limited. its too expensive and its just mainly to show off how much money you got. a modified car like an R32 gtr is more of a petrolheads kinda thing. ask most people around melbourne who loves cars whether theyll take a 300K ferrari or a 300K modified car and theyll take the modified car in a snap. i wouldnt bother buying an exotic until im so freaking rich that my wallet cant fit an extra 1 million so ill then go buy a murceilago.

Its like what I sayd earlier in the forum and kept repeating, it is so personal what kind of car someone likes, some like this, some like that. (a friend of mine has a rusty old opel kadet, it really looks like crap, but he loves the car, and its his choice..)
It is good that everyone is different, otherwise we would all be drivig the same car, wearing the same cloths and be looking at the same woman...

But I know from experience that this subject has been discussed many times before, and it always comes down to the same thing... and as long as everyone is happy with what he or she drives, then it's ok.

I've been known to take a spin in my brothers impreza, and it's a blast to drive offroad but for long trips, I'd rather drive my maserati, or my dads audi for that mather... and so does my brother

Anyone can mod a GTR to make it go faster than an Enzo. If speed in a straight line is all you are looking for then the modded GTR route is the way to go.

Building a 8 second car is not a big deal in the performance world, but the reason people buy Ferraris, Aston Martin etc is because of their superior looks, dynamics, reliability, and class.

Comparing the top speed of cars is pretty much a wank since there's few places in the world you'd actually be able to do 200MPH+. Cars like the Veyron are stupid for the same reason. It has a claimed top speed of 252MPH but only on special tyres which wear out quicker than the blink of an eye.

Any real driver will tell you it's not always about the speed.

well i dont htink i meant a 200k modified car with 180k spent on engine alone, i met all around, including suspension and everything else. thats why i said performance in an earlier post. so it can match any exotic car in that area and also beat it.

it is a big deal in my world and many other peoples world to own a 8 sec car. it gives you pride, joy and its your baby. you work long and hard and spend alot of money on it to make something of that car and prove to people that you mean business. but i will agree that exotic cars look better, i mean with 200K price tags they better look good. and some are fairly ugly but thats not the point, i mean 200k spent to modify a car can insanely change its appearance to extraordinary stand points that make people drool including me, ive been to countless car shows and when people put a stock mercedes sl550 next to my baby skyline R32 modified to the max more people were interested in the R32, you know why? cause it had more to show off, more things to make people go "oh wow! look at that!" its just unlimited different things u can do. but the sl550 would be like a very very fast passing phase. when i saw the sl550 i was like "woah! a merc at an autosalon!." then i just walked away. many people did the same thing. it just doesnt grab your attention enough, with a modified car people will go " omg i wonder what engine its running, omg i wonder how much ponies he's pulling omg what stereo does he have, omg he has got Gucci leather interior! omg his sound system pumps 159DB!" this is what i live for, not driving around a fancy pansy car that ripped my wallet apart for just minimum returns. its just not my style. but it could be yours.
