Well friends...after hearing a lot of bad things about nokia 3100 from many people(I hope sid is not one of them) I decided to give this baby a chance.... man I am impressed!!! maybe not a classic...never ....but it is one of the best colur phones (200$) in the market..... some points which I have noted------
--The screen is beautiful balanced ....
--The handsfree loudspeaker is easily the best in the market
--memory same as nokia 6610/6100(some said it is less but in my phone I have 725 kb)
-- there is photo caller(crippled)
--full mms(no slides)
--beach rally rocks
--the greenish glow is not obstrusive...rather pleasent
-- BUT the thing that makes difference is it is probably even smaller then nokia 6100.....(102mm vs. 101.8mm)
-- Battery is amazing( 850 li-ion) I get 2 days with very heavy usage
-- xhtml and goto softkey options
-- beautiful pastel colured menu items
--gif files can be used as screensavers.
some baddies:(
-- the keypad is just a bit better than 7210
--the keypad doesnt also look that good
--phone a bit too narrow
--4 tone poly
Overall a credible phone but the looks need to be improved
Personal suggestion:::cool:
-- buy a gaming cover(yellow)
--have it fixed on 3100
-- walk to the nearest disco
--watch your friends go green with envy!!!!
