I was playing with a Samsung SGH-E700 for a few minutes today.

What a damn good looking handset, lemme tell ya. It builds on the new design elements used by the SGH-P100.

Very sharp....

No bluetooth
no speakerphone

what is it about Samsung and bluetooth. The idiots price their phones at more than 500$ but refuse to put in bluetooth and speakerphone. Really irritates the hell out of me.

I agree with that. I want Samsung phones because of the marvelous screen and polyphonic ringtones and one of a kind designs (rotating lens, 15 continuous pics) but because of the poor connectivity and other important features, i still choose Sony Ericsson phones because they have all the things I need and want. I am just waiting for the P900. Ultimate dream phone.

had some people come into my shop with the e700 (my network don't do it yet so we don't stock it) and i have to say i was kinda impressed.

i hate, with a passion, samsung phones. but there are some things on the e700 that got my attention; the flip with out the aerial for instance is cool, and the matt blue colour is nice too. Apparantly it has a quick shutter feature where it can take lots of shots in a few seconds and string them together for an animation.

menu is still samsung and sucks but at least they got some good design features on the casing!!

still wouldn't have one cos it's samsung but if you like the sammys they're worth a look.

certainly a lot better than the tripe that is the P400 (which we do stock), i hate that phone with a passion - overpriced rubbish.
