Hey all, i got a Sharp GX32 and can't get the mp3s on my cpu onto my phone. i have a usb compatible cable and a handset manager CD. In the file manager from the program on the cd, i try to upload mp3s to the sound folder on my mobile, but it says size limited to 100 kb or something. So i dont know how i can use the mp3 player on my mobile. Theres no mp3 folder so im guessing trying to put songs into the sound folder was right?

i dunno i need help

no, you cannot upload MP3 file via cable or IRDA you have to copy the MP3 file directly on the folder "sounds" on your SD/MMC card
Cheers

Are you totally sure about that? My cousin's didn't seem to have any problems (but I didn't check the bitrates). Anyway you can easily reconvert and you'll probably want to, to conserve space on the SD card.

I wonder if it will play VBR MP3 files?

yea i got the goldwave program that basically brings down any song to whatever bitrate you want. and i dont really need to worry bout space on my card. i cant seem to fill it up. i got a 256mb card and ive used about only 180. i guess its cause i carry my 20gb movie and mp3 player with me as well so no point using both for the same purpose. one thing that annoys me about the gx32 is that the top volume and the volume bar before that is so different. like the one before the top is fairly soft sound but the last one is too loud. its very annoying.
