i saw this on the FCC site and it had a drawing of the bak of the phone... it looked just like the 7610.

Only Series 40? VGA? What a bummer. Oh well, there's still hope...People at mobile-review aren't always right.

The same folks on Mobile-Review say that the screen should be the same size as in 7600. And VGA is understandable because the phone is likely to be very small. Squeezing in a 1mp camera would be difficult. If it has all the other features of 6230 (as they also speculate, more or less), then its a hit. Hip design, 6230 features (incl. MP3 player), bigger screen.. that would be a great phone (unless the keypad is too strange)! Let's hope they are right.

anyone know if 7610 and 7600 have the same screen size? 7600 looks bigger but could be my imagination.

Um, not too sure about the actual size, but the resolutions of the 7610 are bigger. 7600: 128x160 pixels, 7610: 176x208 pixels.

what i saw was just a pda file with drawings in it...
the whole file is around 700kb and its in german or some other language..

The screen on the 7610 is definitely larger than the 7600. I compared my 7610 with my mum's friend's 7600

I'm interested in looking at what the 8xxx, 7750, 7270 phones would look like. But still, I'm keeping my 7610 no matter what.

Um, I'm not too sure what the navi-scroll is, but I know of the navi-roller and the navi-key from Nokia.

I presume it would be. And by looking at the picture, it looks similar to all the Series 40 phone screens (except 7600). Oh, and it has 65,536 colours like the 6230?

mmm.... aside from that snake-like stripe, I think that the keys are arranged pretty straightforward? They're not curving like that in a 7610. So maybe this is easier to get used to.

the 7260 is obviously an upgrade to the 7250

this phone hasnt even been announced yet... so the earlies it will be released is end of this year/start of next year... the phone is outdated now so what the hell is gonna happen when its released!!! i think this shouldve been the fashion version of the 6230 AT LEAST!!

It's quite ugly, yes. Seems the only nice phones are the mid-upper range and the high end. All the low end, which seem to cater to the younger (and poorer) crowd, to which Nokia seems to be lacking, are trying to make up for it with wacky cool designs. Both of which arent working.

The 7210 and 7250/7250i were both Series 40, many people thought their looks were disgusting when they were first released, and even today the 7250i (unfortunately) still sells very well, you guys have just got to face the fact that Nokia have got no reason to stop making Series 40 phones for a while yet because the hundreds of thousands of Nokia fans out there who know no better will still buy them, regardless of whatever features they might have. I get so many teenagers and pre-teens asking to buy the 7250i or similar dispointingly-featured Nokia handsets simply because of either its looks or the fact its a Nokia and its popular, and they have no idea how much of a crappy handset it is inside by todays standards.

They were amazed when they saw my phone (7610). Size was decent and packed full of features. Hehehe ... pity those poor soulds :D
