I love the SE T610/616 but camera phones have been banned at work.

I've found it very difficult to find a top-of-the-line phone without a camera. So far I've only come across the Siemens S56 and SE T226. The Siemens seems a bit dated, and the T226 is more of an entry-level phone.

Anyone have any other suggestions? I'm not particularly fond of Nokia.

Thanks,
Matt

Give us more to go on. If, for example, you need Bluetooth, there are very few options.

I'd like BT, but have come to the conclusion that I'll have to do without. I could care less about games. IMHO, the T610 has a more "solid feel" than the T226.

It seems that GSM has better coverage where I work, so I've been going mostly for those, but co-workers say Sprint has decent coverage as well.

Well, you don't seem to have much in terms of requirements, then.

Candybar form: Nokia 6200, Nokia 6100, Orange SPVx, SE T310, Nokia 5100

Slider: Siemens SL55

Folder: Samsung SGH-S300

Out of those, I would probably grab a SL55.

top-range phone without camera?
of the top of my head you have the SPV E-100 (candybar) and the Moto MPx200 (clamshell) smartphones. both top-quality app-wise and without camera, on the GSM network.

So my wife just learned she has the same problem: cannot have a camera, but she also really wants/needs a bluetooth headset. Because of this we are leaning towards the Siemens S56.

Any opinions?

It seems that Nokia, SE, and Siemens are the only ones to support built-in bluetooth? Think I'd better look at Nokia's phones now too...

BTW, is the "Old phone" ringtone available for Siemen's phones?

If you don't care about the screen quality, then the S56 is an excellent choice. It's not really outdated, the other specs are fine; fantastic filesystem, great Bluetooth/IrDA support, good build quality.

I do care about screen quality -- especially outdoor usage.

I just haven't found any phones that include BT, but no camera. There is the Nokia 6310i (?), but I'm not sure there are other options in the US?
