Have you been able to open it before? Perhaps you have too many things open at the same time, and it's run out of mem.

Ayoh. Are you sure? Try taking out the battery and putting it back it. No don't delete it yet - try to go to a Nokia Care Centre first.

If you got it free with your phone, you can most probably get it installed again. Try www.softwaremarket.nokia.com through your phone. Or see if its corrupted. If all else fails go to the Nokia Care.

You will know if you've tried EVERYTHING and still can't get it to open.
Well, actually, not so obvious. But now that you've said this, on stand-by mode hold the menu button until something else comes up, that way you'll see if anything else is open.

And be sure to close them with the C button.

ive done all of that, nothing is running when i try and open it.
when i run it, it lets me go into the application, it shows a menu with 4 options
1) Photo ecard
2) Image messaging
3) Mask
4) About
It brings up the error when i click on 1 and 3

Oh, is it that important? Look for it on the net and when you install it. It will get registered on its phone. As registration entries are saved on the registry * i think * because I once had removed screen saver app and when I reinstalled it I did not have to put the code!

if your phone is under warranty then ask the nokia people to reinstall the software!

i just called nokia and they told me its a problem with the software and i have to drive for an hour to chatswood in sydney to get them to reinstall the app.
whats worse they told me it will take a day to do it becuase they have to verify that my phone is legit and all that other stuff. Also ill loose all data on my phone.
Why doesn't nokia have these apps on the cd so if this happens people arent completely inconvenienced.
And they wont send me the app over the net so i can reinstall it!
Aggrrrrrrraaahhhhhhhhh!
I've got such a headache now!

Well no, but it sounds so like Nokia to treat their customers like that.

Thankfully I've never had the need to talk to them. I've had good luck with all my Nokia phones
(Until the P800 came along...ugh)

Yup, me too. Strange, all my nokia phones were going great, still working, and then came my p900 and all of a sudden a lot of them broke! Weird...

Nokia tends to do that, as us customers have no other choice. So useally people like me who are smart-asses show them the finger and fix the phones themselves.

well thankfully the people at Optus in Bondi Junction (where i bought the phone) were better to me than Nokia. They offered me a completely new phone as long as it was in good condition.
They just swapped my phone for a brand new one (they let me keep my original battery so i could use it straight away), backed up my mmc for me and now everything is fine.
I guess the guys at optus treat you better if you spend a bit of money at thier store!

I have stuck to a single dealer since the last 2 years. We have good understanding between us. So if you go to someone more then a few times. You become a "regular" and privlaged customer and you get treated better.
