A little help with my 7610 please

I just had a few questions which i wondered if some of you who have had the phone for longer than me.

1)Has anyone else had problems setting up the usb cable, ive tried setting it up but it says i need service pack 1 on my laptop, ive tried downloading a version of it but i doesnt seem to work, has anyone experienced this?

2)Can you send pictures taken with other phones like the 7650 to the 7610 or does the fact that the picture quality is better on the 7610 make this impossible?

3)Does anyone know a good place to download software for the phone as ive been looking but cant find one?

1- no, what OS u running? maybe you should uninstall Nokia s/w, install service pack, then reinstall Nokia s/w?

2- it works. i tried it already, not too sure what happened to image quality as i didn't really investigate it.

3- heaps of places on the net, just google it ^__^
