nah i think he'd probably get stressed out listing all the faults and lack of value for money in the ROLEX of mobile phones.

Its next to impossible to source a vertu, and the philoshopy of a VERTU phone is much different then the other phones. As it was pointed out "Millions of Dollars deals are made on this phone" so that person does'nt use it for MMS, GPRS etc... On the other hand the ROLEX is also feature rich and exclusive. Namely The OYSTER PERPETUAL Date-Just. I love that one!

Haha, I have no idea who buys them, but they seem pretty popular. They have shops all around the world! For example 3 shops in Singapore (2 of which are on the same road!) 8 in Hong Kong, and about in 12 states in the US! (There's one in New Jersey!).

This thread reminds me of one I was reading in the Porsche Performance forums. There was a 19yo kid asking about brake upgrades on his 911 GT2 and most of the people said he was lying. It turned out that he had a 911 GT2, Maranello, Vanquish, and a few other top end cars.

Yeah, in my hands :D. Um, nothing from my in particular. Would like to see the screen and menu layout however :).

ok, I'll try and make descent photos, I am happy this one has a color screen, my old one doesn't have this.
The menu is simple like those of the nokia's
I will scan some documents that came with the phone too, it tells you exactly what the concierge can do and the warranty is also pretty cool.. if it breaks down they will make sure that you get a new one the same day, no mather what it takes to get it to you.

After a couple days of thinking about what I should get I finally made a decission. I bought me an Ascent. If someone want some pics, I'll post them. Or maybe it's easier to send them to someone so they can upload it. The phone is non-nonsens, it's only for private calls. For business I use my 6230, 6610i and off course my P900. At the moment my P900 is broke and ordered me a 9500 commi. it wil come in on week 48. So end of november...

The cable you see is the data cable. But it doesn't work. Maybe because I use an serial to USB converter. On my portable I don't have any Serial Ports. Is it possible to still use the cable? Or do I have to buy a pc with com-port?

But this includes the datacable and the leather pocket. the pocket isn't very easy in use, but untill now I didn't used it that much. it's from leather, and maybe it still have to get a little bit 'smoother'(or how do you guys say that?'
