Connecting Nokia 7610 via USB

I got the 7610 yesterday, and I have tried to connect it to my computer via the USB cable.

I normally install aps using GPRS and this is the first time that I have used a USB Cable to connect phone to PC.

I have done the followingL

Installed xp SERVICE PACK 1
Installed DKU 2 DRIVER
Installed PC SUITE 6.1

everything seems to be fine but how do i connect the damn thing to the computer? Any suggestions? Thanks V much

THE CONNECTION IS WORKING NOW....Another question for those who have already used smart movie...how do i transfer those files onto my 7610? or any other type of file other than .sis

Oh and also, is it me, or when you click on recent forum posts, all you get is a blank internet explorer screen?

it should be there, if it aint there demand for 1 or simply dont buy it... nokia 7610 site faq says it is included... and m sure it is listed in the manual as an included parts

HI guys, i am new on this site. I am an Indian but live not in india but somewhere outside.
I wanted some help with my Nokia 7610, if u could. Tht is when i download the USB installation from my CD it says u need service pack 1. But the prob. is how do i get it, cause it is not included in the CD installation place.:confused:
So i dunno wht to do, so if somebody could help tht would be great.

You need to update your WINDOWS Operating system and your MICROSOFT OFFICE files via the windows update feature.

Start........programs............click on windows update...........on your Pc/laptop. Hopefully you have authentic, registered versions, as otherwise the update will not work.

HEY THANKS ALL! i didnt realise anyone had replied to this cos i still aint sure on how to follow up threads ive subscribed to.

Everything going fine, part from that i keep dropping it and the phone stops recognising rsmmc, and camera stops workin...good thing i got insurance on it!

The service pack has to be DOWNLOADED from the MIcrosoft web site. It cannot be sent to you via this site or to your e mail as it is illegal and to big.
What you need to do is to go to product update wen you click on START and do your updates from there.
