I do a moderate amount of international travel, and recently unlocked my ATTWS Motorola V600 for an upcoming trip to Australia. I was searching online to see if anyone has created a Java Applet that could be uploaded onto the V600 that would recognize the local time (with GMT offset) provided by the local cell tower, and provide the correct time and date of cities one might want to call. I'm not a programmer, but it seems this wouldn't be that hard to program. Does any one know of such a program?

I posted the query here because I thought someone might have already written a Java applet for another phone that might be useable on the Moto V600. I've not found anything on the 'net, though. I'm planning to switch to the Nokia 6620 in August when it's released, and I believe such a program comes on that phone. I was looking for something for a trip in a couple of weeks...
