when is nokia...?

when is nokia going to release a phone with a 2MP cam and 262K i am eagerly waiting although it is not even 2 weeks after i bought my 7610.. within 2 weeks i am thinking of buying a new phone ha ha!!!

On a serious note why are nokia falling behind? why are they always late? they are never the first to release something new something interested.. the last exclusive thing they have released is Lifeblog (but its just a App).

Or am a wrong is there any Nokia phone annouced which has the following features:-

1) 2 MP cam?
2) 262 k display
3) Optical zoom (i just read that Sharp have annouced a phone in japan which has a 2 mp cam with opitical zoom)

Is there any phone with the following feature? i dont think there are any? The next phone they are going to release i.e N 6630 will be outdated when it releases between october and december..

I love nokia! and i always will! but just hope...... :( what say guys dont you feel the same way???? :confused:

1) End of this year probably, according to some confirmed rumors.
We will even see at the end of this year some 3 megapixel phone camera's (probably from sharp and samsung) I've read a article that...

2) not very soon (a 265K screen uses a lot of power and the difference between a 64K and a 265K screens is not so much compared with the difference between 4K and 64K...

3) don't know any info about that.

Casio has announced the first 3 MP camera phone with a 1.56 million colours screen (32-bit). Not sure whether it has optical zoom though.

We all know that Nokia is the only company that produces their latest technology very slow. I think they did that for reasons.

One of them is the price of the product. For example, you won't pay of course $1500 for a phone that has 3 MP cam and a 256K color screen with stereo input and hot swap mem card, right?

Too early for nokia to worry about these specifications, they are waiting for other companies to make those kind of phones so that the phone won't be so costly when it's released by nokia. Just look on how much is the price of a 3 MP or 2 MP phone with a 256k color screen phone these days, EXPENSIVE!

i doubt the 3mp casio phone will ever be released outside of asia and we all know that they are at least a year in front of us when it comes to mobiles, 1mp phones are still a new thing to the rest of the world and nokia are usually the last when it comes to new technology as someone said so my guess is it'll be at least q4 2005 until they even announce a 2mp camera

nokia still has the advantage of recognition here in australia

the most common phone i've seen lots of people hold is the 3200

a lot also have that 8210 or whatever its called

and the 2100 and 3100

plus the 6600


and when we talk about features, sharp gx-30 is one kickass phone but still people seem more happy to buy the 6600 over it mainly because they dont know about the gx-30, which is because of the brand, advertising, etc.

so yeh we'll see what happens, but nokia is still dominant right now.

TooCool you are talking about second-hand ones, but in other countries like USA and UK, you can get a respectable config. laptop NEW for around 1000$
