I honestly have been reading this website for quite some time now, and it's great to have another outlet for discussing gadgets and cellphones.

members should have names on experience too..like on other forums all members have different names corresponding to their join date/activity on the forums...

yupe.. something like ladders of rank. For example newbies would have a small 3310 beside their names. And as they grew, maybe into SET300 ..... Nokia 6220.... T630 ... blah blah and ultimately into communicators. :D

I like that higher phone rank thing...except instead of mixing brands, I think one should be able to choose a specific brand. Like I'd pick Nokia S60...first 7650, 3650, 6600, 7610, etc etc etc...of course commedecargons would pick SE:p Btw, how would the rankings be determined? Like, with the number of posts, or what? Because judging a person from their actual posts would be too tedious and time-consuming...I like the number of posts thing:D

That would be the best thing, but unless someone comes up with a feasible way to do that, I think amount of posts would be the best way to do so. In any case, that would also give people incentive to post more, as they'd have a higher rank and so on and so forth:D

yes but they would usally post more crap then good to get there numbers up.

yeah that i like, cos its more obvious that A is better than B (at least price wise - mo expensive)

Myseries60 works not on post count but how much you type- and you get more points for typing more...more than you would if you posted like 6 things in a row with stuff like "lol". it works there and other forums where they impliment it.

But like ruler_70 says its probably best at the moment to keep things simple. keep everyone the same so no one person is better than another...except for mods/supermods/admins/site owners lol
