ive got the nokia 6230, n wen i set the ringtone n message tone to a song off my mmc card it would play the nokia tune. even tho it listed in my profiles the name of the song. i was well confused. but thanx to some clever b8stards on this forum. ive managed to sort out this problem. simply by movin the files off the card n into the fones internal memory!!!!!!!

wat kinda ringtones?..cause mp3s work as a ringtone for me when i leave it on the mmc card.

from wat ive heard if the mp3 that u select are too big then the fone wont load them as a ringtone n automatically uses the nokia tune instead, altho doesnt change name of the tone being used within the profile
