Hey people I'm sorry for bothering, but I want to clear this out in order to be sure of my buying.

Quite a while I decided I was going to buy the Moto V710 since it was a phone that covers every single Tech Acronym I've ever heard about... But just a few hours ago I read in an article that OBEX [in Bluetooth] is not supported.

I've heard quite little about this and I just don't seem to get it's main function. Can you please explain it to me and tell me how will it affect the phone's functionality and connectivity? Is it a major issue?

Thanks for your attention and for the help.

Cheers.

I'm only an 18 year old swede, but I do alot of research on mobile phones and their functions and so on...

To get to the point OBEX is short for OBject EXchange, witch therefore means that the bluetooth doesnt support objects to be exchanged FROM your v710 but you can still recieve objects from other phones that allowes this function.

The one and only bad thing about it is that you have to send mms in order to share your pictures and ringtones mp3's and so on, but hey...as long as your phone can recieve i wouldnt argue.

Me myself think that motorola has done something that really can and will be able to compare with the companies that are well known for their "great" mix of finess and quality...I can't wait for the V710 to be out in stores...hope that I have been to at least a little help... ;)

You have been of a lot of help... I also love this phone and it has absolutely everything!:D I love it!:D It's awesome.

Anyway, and sorry for bothering, I've noticed there are little phones to support it or am I wrong? N6230, N6255, MotV710, etc. don't support it...

Don't worry!:D You've helped a lot... I just wanted to reassure that not many phones have this function... If not many of them support it, why should I bother, right? It has absolutely everything I could ask for:p

Thanks for the Help!
