yeah, you always write very informative reviews which is why im waiting for your 7610 review. Do you perhaps kow when it might be available?
Michael has a 7610 with him right now, which means you can probably expect a review in the next few days.

I think michal's reviews are much more detailed and better. Thats why the site is gaining so much popularity. Not leaving sid behind of course. Its their collabrative effort which always gets things going. :D

Haha... since I already have the phone it's a bit moot, but I really want to know how the 7610 will fare with Mobileburn standards. ^_^

I hope to get the review posted this weekend, but I've been sick for a week and a half now, so I'm falling a bit behind.
But so far, I like the phone a lot. It has some typical 7610 quirks, of course, but it works well in general. I even *like* the keypad, go figure. Camera still has some trouble with exposure, though, and my 7610 has a number of bugs in the voice dialing system (not really usable).
I assume the rest of you out there are not having problems with voice dialing? Mine is actually running the firmware rev that existing just before the final release, so it could very well be different for you guys.

My voice command seems to work good in a quiet room, although I haven't really stressed it much.
The one bad thing is that when it confirms a voice command, when it plays back the recorded clip there seems to always be a break in the middle of the recording..

I think Mobileburn's reviews are the one of the best around on the net. Heck, its even better than the CNET Asia's review of the 7610! All they said was the features and bla bla bla...they hardly talked about how they felt about it and it is only 1 page.
Michael, take your time with the review, we wouldn't want a short and lousy one wouldn't we?:)

Eheh. But CNET does have to keep it short as they review SO much, alot more than cells. But, I really have to admit that the reviews made by Michael, Sid etc. are the best...

i sometimes wonder if cnetasia just write a review based on the spec sheet! some of their reviews just lack quality, but for a quick read to a clue-in of a new unreleased-in-western-world phone, its very helpful imo.
I would second it.........I rate Michael's and Sid's reviews very high.
Lot of the CNETASIA's review are just a elaboration of the specs sheet.........
Keep up the good work guys........take your time......well worth waitng for a good review............
Have a good weekend...........
Cheers,
:cool:mie

Micheal and Sid's reviews are the best.
sometimes I see websites with the same reviews and the lack of quality and you keep a good relationship with mobile companies too get the mobiles before anyone.
By the way you should start slowing down with the new forums but don't come too a halt because you have a LOT of members new and old.

Manva, they might make too many forums at one time and most will be left empty.

After reading your 7610 review which was great, I made a few comments which I emailed to you via feedback.
I can see that you obviously really enjoyed 7610, I think as a suggestion in the future you could put a bit where you would answer (either directly or indirectly) if you would shell out the cash for it, knowing how good it is and so on before you have to pay.

No, I don't like talking about money/cost in reviews. In general, I woudln't shell out cash for any phone. I'd stick with whatever I have in almost every case.
Money and value are personal things, and what works for me might not work for the next guy. And considering how the prices fluctuate so wildly based on time and geography, there is no standard that you could measure against.

No, but he posted it like more than 15 minutes after the other one, usually when it's browser problems it just posts the same thing a minute later...
