Help Me - Nokia 6800

I bought a Nokia 6800. It worked fine for 2 months but now it does not start up. When i press the on button the light comes on for a second and then goes off. I tried charging but the battery is not charging at all. Does anyone know whats wrong with the phone. I've ordered a new battery but that will only arrive by the end of this month. I just want to know whether the battery is at fault there or the phone. I bought this phone when it had just come out and have not yet joined the nokia fun club nor have i taken out any insurance for it. If something is wrong with the phone who do i go to. The manufacture warranty period has ellasped. I'm new to this kinda problem so i haven't a clue what to do. Please help. :( Thanks:)

I would think the manufacturer's warranty should still cover you. Just go to where you bought it and find out. Its probably not the battery, and you can test that in the store anyway.

The thing is i bought the phone on ebay. It was sold brand new and i have got the manufacture warranty sheet but i haven't filled it in as i did not get a reciept. So no i don't know how long the other guy had the phone for.
