I've looked at the recommended dongle (http://forums.mobileburn.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=138) thread and was wondering if anybody else, specifically T610 users, could recommend a dongle?

My Brother has his T610 now and I'm getting mine on Thursday all going well.

My main PC is running XP Pro. I'm looking for a 100m dongle that'll definately work with it and a T610. Can anyone recommend one? I'm looking at the Belkin Bluetooth USB Adapter (F8T001UK).

PS. I've also found a few freeware apps that show some promise:
float’s Mobile Agent (http://eflame.com/fma/)
Phone Backup, PC Control etc. (http://www.christersson.org/software.php)

PPS. Wasn't sure if this thread should be here or in the Bluetooth section?

I use the Belkin, though the 100m support won't let you get more than 10m away from the T610.

Both devices have to be 100m to do that.

I also have the Belkin and it works very well with the T610.

Belkin its is then :)

I'll see if I can get my brother to go half in, seeing as he'll use it too

So even though the Belking has a 100m range then, the T610 only has a 10m range? That sucks a little, but is understandable from a power consumption point of view...

Was gonna get one off eBay, but by the time I've paid P&P, I'd be better off buying a proper one off amazon...

Thanks for the help guys.

Personally, I find that my 100m dongle works a little further than my 10m one. Either way, it won't hurt to have a 100m one.

Yeah, can't hurt.
