Those ads in the forums are terrible, if you want I can make some good ones for you guys. Jokes apart I really dont like the ads. You site does get so so many hits you can approach better adverts. Anyhow maybe I am just sick ok being asked to take a survey 28,741th time. Cheers! Manav

I don't allow popups.
The ads are crap, in general, because most networks don't allow their ads to be run on discussion forums. That is why the stuff on the main site is better, because I can use better networks.
I tried the Google ads, but they don't seem to index the forums, so the ads always come up as public service announcements, which don't pay a thin cent.
The forums don't get enough traffic to be worth me trying to sell the ad space directly to companies. I don't have the time to do that for the main site, let alone the forums.
If anybody were interested in trying to sell ads for the forums or main site, I would be willing to pay a good sized percentage commission on the sales. Assuming that it meets a minimum CPM rate, of course.

Well I dont think that will do any good ;). Anyways I'd get in touch with some local retailers and then as the popularity grows we can approach big online retailers.
