Hi!

I need all of you bright minds out there to come up with every piece of software you know of that will allow my bluetooth-enabled phone to control whatever.

Not clear enough? Here's an exapmle: If I want to control my phone by means of bluetooth from my PC, I would need.... (you guys fill in the blanks)

I welcome all tips regarding the following keywords: control, bluetooth, PC, mobilephone, Linux, Mac, Lindows ect.

Please help me on this one. I'm writing a paper on the subject and I dont have time to search everywhere for it. So I thought I would ask the combined memorybank of all the users of this forum.

Thx in advance!

PS: It seems that this part of the forum is dusting away... so I will post the same post in one of the other forums to make sure that i get attention :D

The only thing I know of for "controlling" the phone is Running Voice GSM for the PocketPC, not desktop PCs.

I don't see any real point of controlling a mobile phone from a PC. I don't know that any software developers see the point in that, either.

I deleted the dupe post in the other forum....

PcControl (christersson.org)
BT Control (meer-net.com)

Are two such programs. Does anyone know if there is more ?

Neither of those two apps do what you said you were looking for.

You said you wanted to control a phone from the PC.

These apps control the PC from a phone.

In any case, I don't know of any others.

I'm sorry. I see now that I didnt express myself good enough.

OK. I am looking for software that allows control of pc OR phone via bluetooth FROM a pc OR phone.

I've found those two programs so far. I'm also looking for similar software for Mac and Linux.

Thx for replying!

You gotta be more specific. A lot of these programs are phone specific...
