A group session

Hi guys

I was just wondering, if it is ok with Michael and Sid, if we can make like a time or date where we can ALL be online. It would be pretty neat. Just imagine that little bar at the bottom of the forums main page saying Most Users Ever Online: 3000! :D

Oh and by the way- Micahel (and Sid!) well done on 3000+ memebrs. Thats quite a milestone in my books. These forums have really gone from strength to strength! They great!

Yeah, I'm pretty happy with the way these forums are going. Sure, once in a while we get the occasional fanboy, but overall I think the crowd is pretty good. I originally pushed Michael to create these forums because I didn't like the way most other forums were run.

As for your idea, it would be cool to break the record but it would be much cooler to "really" break it. We'll manage someday :)

But what about the proposed idea? Why dont you make a sticky in all the forums and mention a time and date. GMT of course so that all of us can properly relate to it. Myself GMT + 5.30. Anyhow its up to you guys. Like the idea of world domination though *Dr Evil*.

I think a time that is accessible to everyone. No point in having 4pm New York time, when that's 4am in Singapore:).

Those are the main regions where people are located right.

I havent forgotten Europe, just that they are all mainly same time zone as Africa.

GMT +8 would be SG
+ 5:30 I think is New Delhi
+10 I think is Sydney and other Australian cities in the east coast
-5 would be the USA eastern sides.

I would say 17th of july because that is saturday and the day after british schools break up.
Or maybe 18th because it's sunday and more people would likely be inside their homes than saturday.

as long as this thread keeps getting more pages were never gona settle..its obvious this threads to decide a time and date. so the longer it takes the more days its gona take..and were from all over the world so your british school break up day is my exam day most likely.. or someone elses friends birthday.... its too hard to coordinate everyone. i say create a chatroom.. secentral.net has one and its a mobile forum site..

Well seems that what you are saying is true, all we can try is make most of the people come online. But it can be done only with the help of the mods. They can decide the time and put a sticky in all the forums and also PM all the members.
