View Full Version : Sharp GX-30 Review
Michael's Sharp GX-30 review is up.
Sharp's GX30 is probably the first GSM megapixel cameraphone to hit the market, and marks the beginning of what is sure to be a flood of similar phones. Armed with a MP3 player and Bluetooth, it sounds like a winner, but does it live up to the hype?

I wonder how many of the minor irritations are because it's vodafone branded, and might be sorted out in a GX-32 model?

The PC software will be the same, I'm sure, so that will still be very, very bad.
But maybe we will see themes and some other stuff put back in, but I kinda doubt that Voda request that voice commands and speakerphone be removed. I could see them requesting that of the Bluetooth profiles, though. But who knows?

I looked at your site ausmobile which is really good, telling me about prepaid plans, but i wanted to ask you. Say you had a telstra mobile plan and you also had a prepaid sim card from a previous mobile, can you insert the sim prepaid card into your telstra mobile phone that is on a telstra plan?? I hope you understood my question : )
thanks sid and cool website...

The reason I asked that sid, is because I want to use my sim telstra 1cent per minute after 9 pm - 7am for 15 minutes and I want to go ona telstra plan to get a new phone and get cheap sms' for day time, so i alternate to get good sms prices and cheap calls at night.... As my bill is usually 240 dollars a month and i want to reduce that cost... is that possible sid?? Sorry to bombard you, I just didn't think my question was clear, not that it was now, but thanks>>>
Hi,
Please go to http://www.mobileburn.com/feedback.jsp?AId=14 and give me the details of your plan ie how many SMS's and calls you make. Also note if you would be willing to change carriers to Optus and
I'll get in touch with you from there.
