Yesterday my V300 just crapped on me. I have always taken the best of care. It's never been dropped before, and I've only had it for a few months. Anyways, yesterday when I opened my open the screen just went all erratic and died. I know the battery was fully charged because I check it every time I handle my phone. The screen spasmed quite a bit, before my default 'Catherine Zeta Jones' background disappeared. I tried to turn it off, but it wouldn't turn off. The phone would go through the animation with the flowers...the one that comes up before the phone actually turns off completely. Then it would go back to the home screen without my background and dim. By dim I mean not completely off. You could still tell the background apart if you looked carefully. Anyways, since it wouldn't turn off, I just put it back in the charger. When I went back to check on it about 2 hours later I found it completely off. The screen was off, as was the actual front display(OLED?). I tried to turn it on, but no luck. I took the battery out and put it back in, but no luck.

:( Seems like my phone just died. Has anyone had these problems with the Motorola v300? If so, are there any fixes? I'm afraid I'll have to mail it to Motorla for repair...but I really need my phone because I'm waiting on a very important business call from work.

Thanks for any and all replies.

1st is it from the uk?
2nd how long have you had it?
3rd if it is in 28days you can exchange the model or get tmobile to send a courier and replace the phone.

same rules and regs should still apply call moto and ur service provider to ensure you can get the problem recitfied asap.
hope that kinda helps

Yeah, that's not what I'm worried about. I'm worried that when they fix it they might clear some of the stuff I have saved on the phone memory like pictures and numbers. More importantly I might miss a phone call that could mean a promotion. :(

maybe you can go to the mobile shop and claim for your phone warrenty! It's free!

Thing is I ordered the v300 from a1wireless.com. Great service btw. They have warranty as well, but that would still take some time which I'm short of. At least I ended up only paying 25 bucks for the phone.

I guess I'll head to a t-mobile store and see what they can do.

I just bought my V300 a couple days ago. The first thing the lady who sold it to me told me was to keep my old Samsung, JUST in case anything happened to the V300, since you can just put the SIM card in the other phone and away you go. I like that TMo option :)
