Which phone are you going to get in the future no matter how many days away, pick one and say why?

I hope there are a range of options that you can choose from.
Now starting with me, I picked the Sony Ericsson K700 because it suites me perfectly.
It's UI is beutiful and far from boring.It has a radio with stereo a loudspeaker and a mp3 player which I will only put 2 tracks on so the memory won't bother me.
It has a pretty decent VGA camera with a very wide lens and 4 digital zoom which dosen't really matter but is a bounes and many camera effects.
It also has 3djava and that would be a very nice touch as I can play 3D Sega games and many other companies which made games for the Sony Ericsson phones in Japan.
There are also many other features which defultly come in the phone which came in T610/30 like musc dj but I cannot give an opinion on this as this is my first Sony Ericsson phone after being with Nokia for ages.
Then all that wrapped up in an improved screen and lovely case finshes it off.
If there are any bad things that you might know that I should expect please tell me in your post?

this phone is gonna break my bank account but look at it?!?!? come on any tech savy geek would drool all over for this thing. it has EVERYTHING that you need and some. i just hope that it wont be a ridiculous price but im pretty sure it is going to be. slated for q4 '04 wont be surprised if it gets pushed back till q1 '05

SE K700, it has everything i ever wanted in a phone except for a MMC card slot.:)

From the phones you have on the voting poll, I would prefer the SE K700. This phone has everything that i need in a phone, EXCEPT for MMC card!!! WHAT A BUMMER!! :mad:

But wait there is a solution. MOTOROLA E398.
Dual 3D speakers for enhanced playback of mp3s, 64mb memory card included, Haptic lights, VGA camera, Great screen quality..list goes on..:eek:

basically, this phone has everything the SE k700 has, plus 3d speakers, Haptic Lights that light up in rhythm with the music, MMC CARD, nicer design, and did i mention the MMC CARD? =) However, there are few features lacking. It doesnt have a radio, and video recording function (but who needs this function anyway..you can hardly see much with the current resolution of videos recorded with these phones anyway. Just get a digital camera!)

So all in all, if you like the SE k700 but worried about the lack of memory card, then consider the motorola e398. It is in my view, just as good a phone, if not better than SE k700.

Mine will be the Sx2

I am contempt with my 6600 for now and will be for the time it takes to get the Sx2. It has everything I can dream about presently. So I am happy with it.

I'm surprised K700 is so far second (excluding phones that were not listed) because I heard many people dissapoited with the phones other flaws exluding external memory like the UI is slow and the reception is bad.

Hi There,

The S-E Z1010 wins easily for me....with the S700i a faraway second. This is gonna be the phone for me.

Have played with the prototype and it is awesome.

Don't go there....avoid it. Better to wait for the S700i or the Z1010.

Nokia 7610 might be a possible choice but don't go near the K700 as you will regret in leisure !!!!!!!!!!!!

The Boring phone is the K700 a botched upgrade of the T630......

mmm.... I think maybe I dont have a "next phone" for now.

I was plannin on the K700 - but I'm turned off by that slow and laggy UI. I applaud the fact that the RF is somewhat improved - but I wished SE would've done something about the phone's speed. Then I set my sights on the 6230... but according to other sites, nokia is set to announce 5 to 6 new phones before December. And I think "charlie" may be one of them. So maybe I'll just wait and see.

True.Sendo x is nothing comparing to other series 60 phones.

What phone do you prefer a Nokia series 60 or a Sendo x...

I was a bit confused, choosing between Nokia 7610 and SE S700, but I finally choosed the S700, mostly because of it's big screen. What I've read so far the phone will have a mediaplayer, expandable memory and a gorgeous screen so you'll be able to watch full lenght movies on 240 * 320 pixels. To bad it doesn't have Symbian. Maybe I'll have both. :D

it is like money down the tube ,just a camera upgrade of 6600 with some cosmetic changes and wala a brand new set .
i think sendo x is much more better than 7610.

I've changed my mind, perhaps I'll get the 6170 instead. One of the most important things I look for in a phone is a keypad that's very easy to use ( such as that of the Nokia 3210, 8250, 6210 and 6610).

I've been reading that the 6260 may require 2 hands to use because of its less than ideal keypad layout. Perhaps the 6170 would have a nicer (read easier to use) keypad.

I use my right hand a lot because of my profession and so I often use my left hand to use my phone to allow my right hand to rest. SMS is something I use a lot, since its so much cheaper where I live.

I've been reading some positive reviews on the 6630. It probably has a better keypad layout. Unfortunately, I may not be willing to spend a ton of money just to purchase that phone.
