anyway if you try to send a pic to a phone you just discovered with its bluetooth on but that unknown person did not do anything either to accept or reject the sending nothing will happen, right? is there a way that i can force send the pic to the other phone?

That's how it works for most phones. They have to accept you or they don't get the message. On SE though, you can usually send the note/contact....

I did it to a 6230 when the guy was sitting right next to me on the MTR. I could see everything. He just turned off his bluetooth when he saw my incoming message....

BTW......I am 'Mojo Jojo' bwahahahaha.......

it is actually LEGAL if you own the original game... so if you have the game on your GBA then it is perfectly fine to download and play it on your PC or PDA. I beleive its also legal to do it if you dont own the original, but only within the first 24 hours after downloading it, though im not sure on that one, you should check the terms and conditions most rom sites have on the net...

it maybe legal but dont think admins/mods here would want you discussing something that could potentially be advitising something that could be illegal for other users... but yeh I do, some snes and gba ones of old games I still have...

Even if you own the game for the GBA, and download a copy of it off the internet, it's still illegal, because that copy you download is not rightfully yours. However, if you have the original game, then somehow upload it to your own device as a backup, for example, then that's perfectly legal. It becomes illegal if you send it to someone else. This is like the whole file sharing dilemma. It's illegal to download a song off Kazaa. If a person buys an album, puts it on their PC and keeping it for themselves, that's legal. But letting people download it is illegal. The album you bought is only meant to be listened by you and your friends alone- not the whole world to download and keep.
Like if you have a DVD. If you let your next door neighbor borrow it, it's fine. If your next door neighbor comes over to watch the DVD, that's fine. If you charge your neighbor to borrow the DVD, that's illegal. If you charge your neighbor to watch the DVD in you house, that's illegal. If you allow someone off the street to watch your DVD in your house, that's on the verge of being illegal (you're showing it to the public...DVDs are meant for "private home viewing" only). If you charge someone off the street to watch your DVD in your house, then that's illegal for sure.

no no if you have the original it is still legal as a backup, like dvds... BUT you have to make the copy yourself yes, but the point is the terms are ok because theres no way of knowing whos the backup is, so its legal because you have the original as proof and to show it as a backup.

no no distribution is fine aslong as you state terms explaining whats legal and whats not because it depends on your cuontries juristrion cos I know in the UK you are able to download other ROMs that are not of your own aslong as you remove it from your computer within 24 hours of downloading it, its also fine to keep it if you have the original because their are no tags left with new emulation that shows its source so you can always say it is yours if you have the original.

LOL...when bluetooth was nu and i was the only one in my school who knew about it, i put messages on it and tried to pair with unsuspecting people who freaked cos they thought someone was hacking their phone or that they had a virus or something. lol. its so funny, especially when you are sitting right next to them! lol.

@jay: LOL. that's probably why we don't see shaheen as much after he bacame a moderator. and of course cdover, manav, mundets etc.
@comme: the batterylife is not good right now, but i'm still customizing it and i play around alot with it and put episodes of family guy (good quality) on it. but then again, i've only been able to play with it since 19.30 last friday (today's sunday, 14.25).that's what? not even 48h.
comme, you should hang around more here in the lounge than you do, the lounge is busy again after months of neglect.
