Very reputable seller on ebay that I buy from, from time to time had one for $505US. From what I understand though, there are some obvious omissions of functionality in the OS in reference to the camera and other hardware?.... there was a review or preview somewhere (mobile-review.com?) that explained it I think... anyway, I like these slider phones. Sick of the flippers at this point.

Does anyone own this phone? Any comments? My brother is deciding whether to buy this one or the Nokia 7610 which is yet to be released. The D410 is already out but I haven't checked the price. Which is more expensive, the D410 or 7610?

In S'pore the D410 is more expensive only because it's an export model, no approved by the local government. But I'm guessing that the 7610 is more expensive in other places. IMO, I think the 7610 is better.

I have one in my hands. Piece of crap.
Nice display, but that is all.
It does most everything wrong. UI, camera, even the way you unlock the keypad.

Huh?
I'll take Michael's word... besides, I think my brother will wait for the Nokia 7610 or SE K700.

:) Meaning that the shop buys the phone somewhere else and then flies it into Singapore.

Yup, the display is indeed very nice according to my g/f (she has a friend who bought it). Her friend said that it's easy to use. Also, the camera is also quite good.
Comments anyone?

the display is very nice, 64 voice polyphonics sound very good, like the rotating camera & the video capture, my E715 doesn't have these 2 functions
is a bit big & thick, doesn't have BT, also u can't have vibrate & ring function, u can only pick one. and i don't like the external antenna
