Hi there,
I need help ASAP. I am currently owning a Nokia 3530 (a.k.a Nokia 3510i in Europe) and I am
simply bored of this phone. Its big, it's color display is poor, the polyphonic ringtones are
pathetic, MMS is crippled, etc. etc. etc.
And since my parents aren't gonna allow me to spend even one cent on buying a new one. So, the
only option left with me is downgrading by exchanging this one. As you see, the 3530 has many
features which I do not use and it does not have some features that I really want, like
Speakerphone.

So, i checked out the local website and I am able to get a Panasonic GD-55.
Now, i read reviews of this phone on sites like howardchui.com, imobile.com.au, mobile-review, CNetAsia etc.
and I got mixed feelings from all these sites. While Howardchui and CnetAsia suggest that the phone has
poor RF performance, mobile-review mentiones that it's reception is 'good'. And imobile.com.au does not
mention anything about RF. WTF? So, all the GD55 users, what is your opinion on this? And if
this problem is genuine, can it be fixed by firmware upgrade?
Secondly, the reviews suggest that the phone software experiences lag, can this be fixed by a
firmware upgrade?
Also, i wanted to confirm whether it is not possible to download Ringtones and pictures via
WAP in this phone. Does it have dedicated memory for storing these?
Lastly, any other loopholes that you'd want to tell me? How is the OS of this phone,
can a Nokian like me adjust to it?

Thank you.
