I've had my E700 since March, and I've only just discovered that this phone has a rather useful sound recorder. This isn't made clear by the sales blurb I've read so far, the reviews or indeed the manual, though it does mention it in the MMS section. Its not a hugely integrated tool, but it is there and some may find it useful for memory-jogger style notes: you get a minute per message and quality is good.
I apologise if I'm stating the brutally obvious...
To record a new message:
MENU 1 | 2 | 2 |'Sound' | 'Record New' | 'Record'
Speak your note, then press STOP when done.
To save message, click 'Add' then enter filename (it'lll be saved with an .amr extension by default).
To play:
MENU 7 | 2 | 3 | 1 then select your file. You can then click options and delete to kill it off.
