Broken P900 LCD

i broke my(sniff sniff) P900's LCD:(
wha i wanna know is does anyone know how much a new LCd would cost me? any one?
man im really down, please if anyone knows, just mention it here in US$, ok. adios.

Ak. How did you crack the screen?? I remember someone breaking their p800 screen, and it costed them US$200...

yar, i was gettin outta my car an i didnt remember that my cellphone was in my lap(i put it there after i received a call)
asi got out, it fell down, face down(keypad unattached), sniff:(

Ouch thats not good at all. One of the reasons I leave the flip on.
Sounds like your in for an expensive replacement screen thats if you find someone who does those kind of repairs in your area.

Mobile Zone (the company which covers my P900's warenty) says that they would repear it for 280-300US$, :(
but i dunt trust em(an they are charging ALOT),
so does anyone know if there is any SE-shops in around Dubai, or other parts of UAE, an iv searched the net but in vain, i could find the xact price of a touch screen for P900(as iv heard that its more xpensive then that of the P800),
help..needed:(

My brother worked for a mobile repair center in New York.
He told me his manager once charged a customer $250 to refurbish the whole phone (p900 I'm talking about), and it was including the screen.....

So you figure it might cost about $200 for the screen.

though the screen has cracked, my p900 is still workin properly,
i mean the touch screen is also working, so is it gonna cost me less to repear it or what??

whoa, thats really harsh son...

i was playing pool at work on my break, (yeah! thats right, they have a pool table where i work, sadly no bar,
so no quick comments about me working in a pub, cuz im a shirt and tie man!!!) n i put my p900 as far from the table as i could.

i broke the balls and what a break it was downed about 4 different balls, i hit the ball so hard that the white ball jumped off the table and landed...yeah you guessed it, right on top of my p900 screen, what a purla!!!!!

amazingly the screen was untouched!!!

now how do you like them apples!!!!

Well a friend of mine broke his P900 screen and I think he got it fixed at Aptec or the SE dealer. If I recall correctly it cost him 700 Dhs. Thats about U$D 191/-

If you want more info then I ll check the exact details.

thnks fer the info buddy, i went to the SE workshop after i read yr reply, they told me itll cost 729Dhs. So ill probably submit my cellphone there tommoro evening, do tell if u know of a bette deal. thnks.

Well I checked with my friend and he got it done for Dhs 650/- at Axiom Telecom in Dubai.

I think if you look on Ebay you can find the part for about £70 which equates to about $140. I'd go that route if I were you.

nice idea, but iv already send it to the service center, its gonna cost me around 160 $ us, not bad id say, but its always better if i could have saved this 20$ too...hmmm..tnks fer the brilliant idea.

my friend bought a used P800 for 180$ (set ,charger,duo stick,handsfree & one stylus)
and ur spending the almost same amount only on ur P900's screen.
but it definately worth it.

yup 'tis a sad sad thing, but as u mentioned its worth it,
since the day iv bonded with P900, it has created a symiotic relation ship with me, i cant seem to use any other phone whatsoever...there..seee.:D
